IRAQ CONCLUDES FIRST AIRLIFT MISSION

BAGHDAD [MENL] -- The new Iraq Air Force has concluded its first operationalairlift mission. U.S. and Iraqi officials said air force personnel have successfullycompleted the first operational airlift mission since the fall of the regimeof former President Saddam Hussein. They said the mission marked a milestonefor the new air force, established by the U.S.-led coalition nearly twoyears ago.
