Iran Reports Development Of Attack UAV

NICOSIA [MENL] -- Iran has reported the development of an attack unmanned
aerial vehicle.
Officials said the Defense Ministry oversaw the development and
production of a UAV with the ability to detect, track and bomb targets. They
said the unnamed UAV was successfully tested in June 2009.
"Iran successfully tested an indigenous radar-evading UAV with bombing
capabilities in June," Iran's semi-official Fars News Agency said on Aug.
12.
