EGYPT ORDERS MISSILE DEFENSE FOR FACs

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- Egypt has ordered a missile defense system for its planned fleet of naval assault boats. The Egyptian Navy intends to acquire missile interceptors for its new fleet of fast attack craft from the United States. The defense system was designed to counter advanced stealth surface vessels, particularly cruise missiles.
