U.S. REDUCES FORCES IN IRAQ BY 35,000

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The United States has significantly reduced itsmilitary presence in Iraq. Officials said that over the last three months, the U.S. military hasreduced its troops in Iraq by 35,000. They said the reduction beganimmediately after Iraqi parliamentary elections at the end of 2005.
