IRAN DEPLOYS INDIGENOUS SUBMARINE

NICOSIA [MENL] -- Iran has reported the development and deployment of anindigenous naval submarine. Officials said the Iranian Defense Ministry has overseen the developmentof the Nahang. They said Nahang, Persian for whale, was designed to fire arange of missiles for sea and land attacks.
