U.S. FORCES INCREASE MISSIONS IN ANBAR

BAGHDAD [MENL] -- The U.S. military has quietly sidelined Iraqi troops inthe effort to restore order to the nation's largest province. Officials said the U.S.-led coalition has employed its own forces tocombat Al Qaida and Saddam Hussein loyalists in Anbar. They said most of theIraq Army and security forces in Anbar remains incapable of leadingoperations.
