FATAH INSURGENTS TURN TO PA MINISTER FOR FUNDS

RAMALLAH [MENL] -- Palestinian Authority Finance Minister Salam Fayyad hasbecome the address for insurgents from the ruling Fatah movement. Palestinian sources said insurgents from the Fatah-dominated Al AqsaMartyrs Brigade have met Fayyad and appealed for funds from the PA. Thesources said the Fatah fighters were registered on the payroll of PAsecurity services but rarely reported to work.
