OMAN LAUNCHES MILITARY EXERCISE

ABU DHABI [MENL] -- Oman has launched a major military exercise. Officials said the exercise, termed Nasser-23, was meant to test thecapabilities of the sultanate's infantry. The annual exercise included theparticipation of thousands of troops as well as armored combat vehicles andanti-tank weapons.
