PA Agency Deployed In Anti-Crime Missions

RAMALLAH [MENL] -- The Palestinian Authority has sought to expand missions
by its domestic intelligence agency.
Officials said Prime Minister Salam Fayad has ordered an expansion of
the role of the Preventive Security Apparatus for anti-crime missions. They
said PSA, long been used in the campaign against Hamas, would lead
investigations of major crimes.
