U.S. Requested Military Aid For Libya
WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The administration of President Barack Obama requested
military aid for Libya in 2011 despite massive human rights violations, a
congressional report said.
The Congressional Research Service reported that the administration of
President Barack Obama had been preparing to relay military aid to Libya in
2011. In a report by Christopher Blanchard and Jim Zanotti, CRS cited plans
to provide military education and training for Khaddafy's security forces.
