PA Expected To Crack Down On Dissent

RAMALLAH [MENL] -- The Palestinian Authority was expected to order a
crackdown on dissent.
Palestinian sources said PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas would probably order
a crackdown on opponents of a reconciliation accord with Hamas. They said
Abbas would not tolerate critics of a Hamas agreement in which would serve
as both chairman and prime minister of the PA.
