U.S. OKs Copters For Qatar

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The administration of President Barack Obama has
approved Qatar's request for military helicopters.
Officials said Qatar has submitted a request for 12 UH-60M utility
helicopters as well as major systems from the United States. They said Qatar
required the Black Hawk aircraft for energy security and counter-insurgency
operations amid the threat by Al Qaida and Iran.
