FSA Quietly Acts Against Al Qaida
LONDON [MENL] -- The opposition Free Syrian Army has been conducting a quiet
campaign against Al Qaida fighters in Syria.
Opposition sources said FSA, based in neighboring Turkey, has helped
remove Al Qaida elements that threatened Sunni civilians in Syria. They said
some of the Al Qaida fighters financed by Qatar have assaulted Sunnis who
denied them recruits or women.
