Hamas Offered Control Of E. Sinai

GAZA CITY [MENL] -- Hamas has been studying a proposal to gain influence in
Egypt's Sinai Peninsula.
Hamas sources said Egypt's ruling Muslim Brotherhood movement has
discussed the prospect that Hamas operate in eastern Sinai, wracked by a
Bedouin insurgency.
