Saudis Bolster Troops In Shi'ite Areas
ABU DHABI [MENL] -- Saudi Arabia, concerned over Iranian-sponsored unrest,
has sent troops to a Shi'ite dominated province.
Officials said King Abdullah has approved a plan to bolster the military
presence in the Eastern Province. Over the last eight months, the Shi'ite
populated area has been racked by unrest as well as repeated battles
between gunmen and Saudi police.
