Israeli Firm Seeks U.S. Military UAV Market
PARIS [MENL] -- An Israeli defense firm has been gearing to market its new
miniature payload for a range of U.S. military miniature unmanned aerial
vehicles.
Israel's Bental Motion Systems has been briefing the U.S. military on
its MicroBAT stabilized payload control system for miniature and micro
platforms. Executives said the company has presented MicroBAT as suitable
for the newly-developed U.S. military UAVs, such as Puma and Raven.
"This is a new strategic area," an executive said.
MicroBAT was designed for installation on UAVs, unmanned ground vehicles
and unmanned surface vessels. The Aqua MicroBAT has been tested at a depth
of two meters.
