Arabs Mull Security Training Modernization

CAIRO [MENL] -- The Arab League has been considering modernizing security
training.
Officials said the Arab Interior Ministers Council has been drafting
plans to upgrade security courses to deal with such threats as
counter-insurgency and drug trafficking. They said Arab police and security
forces have been challenged by cyber-crime and organized crime, particularly
that with links to networks outside the Middle East.
