GREECE, TURKEY AGREE TO REDUCE WEAPONS

ATHENS [MENL] -- Greece and Turkey are considering a proposal to reducetheir militaries in an effort to improve relations between the two longtimerivals. The proposal was raised as both countries have launched ambitious plansto modernize their militaries.
