OMAN, CHINA DISCUSS MILITARY COOPERATION

ABU DHABI [MENL] -- China and Oman are exploring the prospect of militarycooperation. Gulf sources said the effort is part of Beijing's efforts to increasemilitary and defense ties with Gulf Cooperation Council states. They saidBeijing has offered to sell weapons and engage in joint projects with allsix members of the Gulf alliance.
