U.S., INDIA READY FOR STRONG MILITARY TIES

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- India and the United States are ready to launchextensive military ties. Officials said the Bush administration has been encouraged by India'scooperation with Washington on a range of strategic issues and will droprestrictions that block a military relationship. They said such arelationship will include U.S. sales of weapons to New Dehli.
