IRAN, TURKEY ARGUE OVER GAS CONTRACT

ANKARA [MENL] -- Iran and Turkey are arguing over damages amid Teheran'sfailure to begin natural gas delivery to Ankara. The argument is over compensation for the failure to honor the 1996energy agreement between the two countries. Iran asserts that Turkey delayedthe project for more than a year by failing to complete its portion of apipeline.
