ISRAEL ASSASSINATES JIHAD LEADERS IN W. BANK

RAMALLAH [MENL] -- Israel has assassinated three leaders of anIranian-backed group said to be responsible for a spate of bombings in theJewish state. Palestinian sources said an Israeli air force attack helicopter firedmissiles that struck a car near the West Bank city of Jenin. Three leadersof the Islamic Jihad in the car were killed instantly.
