TURKEY RESTRICTED BY U.S. DEFENSE GUIDELINES

ANKARA [MENL] -- The Pentagon is said to prepared to issue yet anotherguideline that restricts the transfer of U.S. military technology to Turkey. Turkish defense sources said the new guideline will further hamper aproject to produce the U.S. AH-Z1 King Cobra attack helicopter. Turkey hasbeen negotiating with Bell Textron for the production of between 50 and 145helicopters.
