RUSSIA PLANS TO SPEND $50 BILLION IN IRAQI OIL

NICOSIA [MENL] -- The regime of President Saddam Hussein says Russia plansto spend $50 billion to develop Iraq's oil sector. The official Al Zawra weekly said the Russian Energy Ministry will spendthe money to construct refineries and drilling facilities. The drilling willtake place largely in southern Iraq.
