TURKEY LAUNCHES BLUE STREAM PROJECT

ANKARA [MENL] -- Turkey has launched a $3.4 billion project to connect anatural gas pipeline to Russia. Officials said ground was broken last week for the construction of twopipelines that would reach Russia through the Black Sea. The project for the376 kilometer undersea pipeline is being led by the Italian company, Saipem.
