U.S. PREPARES TO RETURN TO MIDEAST

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The United States is preparing to resume efforts to endthe war between Israel and the Palestinian Authority. The Bush administration plans to return U.S. envoy Anthony Zinni to theMiddle East in an attempt to implement a ceasefire between Israel and thePA. U.S. officials said Zinni will arrive in Israel on Thursday.
