GREECE, TURKEY WILL OBTAIN U.S. SEA MISSILES

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- Greece and Turkey will continue to obtain new sea-basedmissile interceptors from the United States. Both countries will obtain Evolved Seasparrow Missiles as part of a$118.7 million contract from the U.S. Navy and Washington's allies. Theaward to Raytheon marked the second year of low-rate initialproduction of the missile, an advanced missile interceptor designed toprotect ships.
