U.S. TROOPS IN IRAQ OBTAINS ARMORED HUMVEE

BAGHDAD [MENL] -- The U.S. military has acquired a new armored Humvee forsupport units in Iraq. The new Convoy Protection Platform M1114 Humvees arrived at Camp Arifjanin Kuwait on Nov. 12 on their way to Iraq. The Humvees were meant for theU.S. Army's 7th Transportation Battalion, responsible for the escort ofsupply convoys to Iraq.
